Application for 2015 Admissions

Primary 1 Placements

  1. Parents applying for Pathlight's Primary 1 programmes are advised to send in their completed applications to us before 30 May 2014. Eligible applications will be called for the School's first Screening Assessments starting first and last week of June, according to number of vacancies available.
  2. Parents can send in their applications throughout the year. For those who send in after 30 May 2014, they will have their applications processed for later phases of the School Screening Assessments, which will be subject to available vacancies.

Placements to Other Levels

  1. Parents applying for other levels in Pathlight's Primary and Secondary programmes, please submit your applications to the school as soon as they are completed.
  2. School Screening Assessments for various levels will be scheduled in the second half of the year, depending on whether there are available vacancies in these levels in 2015.

Submission of Applications

Application for admission into Pathlight School must be accompanied by the following documents:

  1. Application Form. This form can be downloaded at
    http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/special-education/application.
  2. Current/ previous school reports or copies of examination scores.

Parents to Note:

Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee a place for your child in Pathlight. Admission will still depend on various factors which include the outcome of School Screening Assessments by Pathlight's psychologists and educators, a holistic review by our Admissions & Review Committee, availability of sufficient physical and teaching resources, class suitability and overall school capacity.

  • Introduction to School

    Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore that offers Singapore's mainstream academic curriculum together with life readiness skills. It caters to students with autism and related disorders, aged 7 to 18 years old, who are cognitively able to access mainstream academic curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.
