To create a school-wide learning experience, Pathlight School specially booked an entire cinema hall (GV Grand) for all Pathlighters to watch Singapore’s first 3-D animation film - Sing to the Dawn. Sing to the Dawn is an inspirational animation film, based on an award winning novel of a young girl who fights for her right to a basic education and finally realizing her dreams.
The film exposed the students at various levels:
- special animation techniques
- inspiring and interesting story which is taught in literature classes
- experience for students who have never gone for a movie before.
Teachers also ensured that students were taught the proper social norms before going to watch the movie. The students had a really enjoyable time!
