Pathlight School was delighted to be selected as the launching ground for the National Library Board’s nation-wide programme – Molly, The Mobile Library at Pathlight on 3 April 2008.
The event was officiated by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports. The event was also attended by important partners of Pathlight. An art competition was also held and students from all tracks who won the Molly Art Competition were invited on stage to receive their prize from the Minister. Students once again got the opportunity to showcase their talent. The Performing Arts Team performed their newly choreographed Ribbon Dance and student Syafiq Akhtar Bin Mohammad Sha'har sang a love ballad to rousing applause.
The students were very excited to see Molly. Many were impressed by the interesting range of books found in the Mobile Library and got to borrow them home.
