A group of our Secondary School students visited the Singapore Peranakan Museum to learn more about the Peranakan culture and also to find out more about the influences of other cultures on it.
Another group visited Waterloo Street and Victoria Street where they experienced the old world charm of Singapore and learnt more about the lesser known cultures of the Armenian, Indian Muslim and Jewish people.
The outing ended with a trip to the food court where the students enjoyed lunch and exercised their independence in terms of food selection and budgeting. |
