As part of Pathlight’s whole-school approach towards holistic development, our Primary 6 students embarked on Project Brave Heart were- a push cart business to raise funds for the school’s Poor & Needy Fund.
The objective of the project was to inculcate in our students the value of service before self and also to engage them through experiential learning. . They were taught lessons on how to be entrepreneurs and how to apply their Mathematics skills in product pricing and counting their daily takings.
Students took turns to run the business which involved setting up the push cart, collecting money and controlling of crowds. Business was brisk throughout their sales period. The students worked hard to earn money in order to help their needy schoolmates. All proceeds collected went to the Pathlight Poor and Needy Fund.
