DAILY LIVING SKILLS OUTING TO HEALTHZONE

19 & 20 July 2010

The Primary 3 & 4 students went on a learning journey to the Healthzone on 19th and 26th July respectively.

The purpose was to enrich their knowledge on Healthy Eating, a target competency skill this term in the Daily Living Skills curriculum.

The "Hand in Hand' Program facilitated by healthzone staff included a talk on healthy eating, a demonstration on proper hand washing and a session on physical exercise. Students visited the exhibit stations and played interactive games on display.

It was an interesting non-traditional learning experience which gave the teachers and students the opportunity to engage in active learning while having fun.
