YOG: CHEERING OUR PATHLIGHTERS ON!

The YOG torchbearers from Pathlight - Tong Qin Yuan (Track 3), Adrian Ignatius (Primary 5) and Daniel Lee (Secondary 1) - held the burning torch high as they passed it from one Pathlighter to another, amidst the cheers of more than 300 supporters right outside Pathlight School. Our students were amongst the torchbearers who got the chance to represent the youth of Singapore, on the first of the 6-day Journey of the Youth Olympic Flame (JYOF).
It was indeed a momentus occasion on several counts. The special needs community was part of this historical, first-ever YOG! We had not one, but three Pathlighters who were selected as torchbearers to represent the youth of Singapore The support from the Pathlight family was overwhelming and everyone was jubilant and spirits were high as we cheered the torchbearers on!
Thank you all parents, staff and friends of the Pathlight Family. You have indeed been part of history in the making!
