To commemorate 2011 World Autism Awareness Day, Pathlight School staged our first panel of eight artists in our 'Art for Autism' Exhibition on 1 April 2011. We also launched a book, 'Beautiful Minds Volume 2', featuring the writings, journals and illustrations by our students. The event was aimed at raising awareness of the abilities and special talents of people with autism.
Officiated by Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, Mr Lui Tuck Yew, the event was attended by more than 100 distinguished guests and industry practitioners who were impressed with the amazing talents displayed.
The art exhibition was open to the public over the weekend of 2 and 3 April 2011, further raising the level of awareness of the special talents of people with autism.
'Beautiful Minds Volume 2' and art prints featured in the art exhibition are available for sale at Pathlight eMall.
