Pathlight has been named as the only school in Singapore to be awarded the ThinkQuest Gold Champion School for our involvement in ThinkQuest projects. This prestigious award is given only to educational institutions where both students and educators actively utilise web-based learning and interaction platforms.
ThinkQuest is an initiative of American technology giant Oracle‘s Education Foundation. Pathlight beat other mainstream schools and institutions such as Ai Tong Primary, Nanyang Girls, Dunman High, Hwa Chong JC, Singapore Polytechnic and NTU to win this award.
ThinkQuest is used as part of our IT curriculum for the Preparatory and Primary tracks to engage students in moving towards electronic modes of education. We are heartened by this testimony of our students’ talents and capabilities as well as our teachers’ commitment to technologically advanced quality education.
