On Wednesday, 30 August 2017, our Primary 5 Science students participated in a Learning Journey to the Science Centre. The objective of the trip focused on the topic of plants, which is covered in the Primary School Science syllabus. Students had the opportunity to use a microscope to examine cell samples in a DNA Learning Lab. They also participated in a workshop at the Kitchen Lab where they learnt about the parts of a flower, the pollination and fertilisation processes. They even made their own strawberry jams! Overall, it was a fun and experiential learning experience for the students.
