Values-in-Action: Pasir Ris Park Beach Clean-Up

On 28 August 2017, 21 Primary 4 and Primary 5 Student Councillors participated in the inaugural “Values-in-Action” event. The Councillors and teachers-in-charge picked up litter along the beach and in the surrounding areas at Pasir Ris Park. The amount of litter amassed was several bags full!

Through this activity, the Councillors understood the importance of reducing marine debris on our coasts to protect wildlife from pollution, while bearing in mind the Council motto of "leading with confidence and serving with conviction”.
