Applications for 2014 Admission to Pathlight
(Updated 18 February 2013)

Parents applying for Pathlight's Primary 1 programmes are advised to send in their completed applications to us before 30 May 2013. Eligible applications will be called for the School's first Screening Assessments from end June, according to number of vacancies available.

Parents can send in their applications throughout the year. They will have their applications processed for later phases of the School Screening Assessments, which will be subject to available vacancies.

Priority of Admission to Pathlight by Citizenship

In line with the latest mainstream registration procedures, Singapore citizens will have priority over Singapore Permanent Residents for a place in Pathlight.

AN INTEGRATION WITH ACS (BARKER) BOYS
		Our Primary 5 students embarked on an exciting trip to the zoo with a group of ACS (Barker) students as their guides. The fun and interactive trail led students on an educational journey about wildlife conservation. Thank you ACS (Barker) for embracing us in your integration programme! more

VISIT BY MINISTER CHAN CHUN SING TO ARC-NTUC FAIRPRICE TRAINING SITE IN PATHLIGHT CAMPUS 2
		Mr Chan Chun Sing, Acting Minister for Social & Family Development visited a training site run by Autism Resource Centre’s (ARC) Employability & Employment Centre (E2C) on 17 April 2013. Thank you Minister for visiting us and for pledging to provide adult employment opportunities for people with special needs. We also wish to thank NTUC Fairprice, and specifically CEO Mr Seah Kian Peng for being willing to work with us to walk that extra mile and have the systems and structures in place to make this work! more

WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS WEEK 2013
		Every year , autism organisations throughout the world celebrate the event with interesting awareness events reaching out to members of the public. In Singapore, several unique events were organized. Much awareness was generated, as information brochures about autism were freely distributed to those who participated in these events. more

WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS WEEK 2013 – MISSION ACCOMPLISHED FOR PROJECT YELLOW FEET!
		Students and their families and staff from Pathlight School put their best foot forward – literally – at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park on a sunny Sunday. About 200 members of the Pathlight community showed up, with hundreds more members of the public, to take part in a record-making 2.4-km walk, in which the longest unbroken human chain was formed. Each walker, clad in cheery yellow tees and yellow slippers, placed a hand on the person in front to walk the distance. more

NATIONAL PADDLERS DROPPED IN AT PATHLIGHT SCHOOL
		Led by Dr Lee Bee Wah, Member of Parliament of Nee Soon GRC and President of the Singapore Table Tennis Association, our national paddlers, together with Ms Jing Junhong, the head coach, paid a visit to Pathlight School to spread the message of sportsmanship to our secondary students. more

With your support, Pathlight's enrolment is now above 800 as of January 2013! About 40% of our students are from families earning below average incomes. Some in fact are from very needy backgrounds. The School subsidises their school fees and works with donors to fund additional expenses such as books, uniforms, meals, transport and holiday enrichment. Thank you for giving them the opportunity of a good education.
