TEACHER (MAINSTREAM SUBJECTS)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective differentiated classroom teaching of lessons to maximise mainstream academic and non-academic potential of students
  • Implement, monitor and work towards meeting students' Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals
  • Prepare students for successful participation in national exams
  • Collaborate effectively with students' parents to generalise skills learnt in school
  • Organise and conduct integration activities to teach students appropriate social communication and interaction skills

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience and recognised qualifications in teaching Singapore mainstream academics at primary/secondary school level
  • Candidates without teaching qualifications may be considered for Assistant Teacher position
  • Passion to help special needs students maximise their talents and potential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong critical-thinking and creativity to develop learning strategies
  • Good instructional skills to explain concepts clearly

EARLY INTERVENTION TEACHER

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute intervention programmes for students with autism aged 2 to 6 years old in group or individual therapy settings
  • Empower primary caregivers with educational and behavioural techniques to carry out intervention plans at home and in class

Requirements:

  • A Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or relevant teaching experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Desire to learn about autism and the patience to teach special needs students
  • Passion to help special needs students maximise their talents and potential

STUDENT SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of students' behaviour support plans for positive and quality student education outcomes
  • Recognise and respond effectively to students' behaviour escalation signs and triggers
  • Create opportunities for and facilitate practice of adaptive behaviours
  • Track and monitor students' progress
  • Supervise students to ensure safety
  • Provide necessary support to students to ensure smooth class transitions

Requirements:

  • A Polytechnic Diploma in any specialisation or currently pursuing a part-time Degree in Psychology or related field
  • Desire to learn about autism and the patience to teach special needs students
  • Passion to help special needs students maximise their talents and potential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills

ASSOCIATE PSYCHOLOGIST / SENIOR PSYCHOLOGIST

Responsibilities:

Assessment:

  • Conduct functional behaviour analysis and develop Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs)
  • Conduct screening assessments related to school admission, examination accommodations and other Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) related assessments

Intervention:

  • Plan and execute intervention programmes for students with autism in group or individual
  • therapy settings
  • Enskill key partners to apply educational and behavioural techniques to carry out intervention plans at home and in class
  • Provide behaviour management support to students and attend to school student behavior crisis line

Secondary Intervention:

  • Coordinate activities related to case management of students
  • Facilitate training for caregivers / staff

Requirements:

  • A Masters in Psychology or equivalent
  • At least 1 – 2 years (for Assoc. Psychologist / Psychologist) and 3 – 5 years (for Senior
  • Psychologist) of relevant working experience in the same or related field
  • A membership with Singapore Psychological Society, or eligible for full registration
  • Desire to learn about autism and the passion to serve the autism community and their
  • families
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast paced work environment
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills

AUTISM THERAPIST / SENIOR AUTISM THERAPIST

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute intervention programmes for students with autism in group or individual therapy settings
  • Enskill key partners to apply educational and behavioural techniques to carry out intervention plans at home and in class
  • Coordinate activities related to case management of students
  • Provide behaviour management support to students and attend to school student behaviour crisis line
  • Conduct screening assessments related to school admission

In addition, a Senior Autism Therapist will:

  • Coach new therapists on assessments and behaviour management
  • Coordinate departmental functions

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (2nd Upper Honours and above)
  • At least 1 – 2 years (for Autism Therapist) and 5 years (for Senior Autism Therapist) of relevant working experience in the same or related field
  • Desire to learn about autism and the passion to serve the autism community and their families
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast paced work environment

JOB COACH CUM TRAINER

Responsibilities:

Conduct Job placement through assessment and job matching:

  • Conducting Vocational Assessments using Standardized Assessment Tools & Informal Assessment on trainee's strength/needs, learning characteristics, job preferences
  • Developing coaching plans
  • Conducting meetings with parents to discuss collaborations

Provide on and off-site Coaching:

  • Off-job-site Coaching in accordance to WSQ Curriculum
  • On-site Observation of trainee's work performance
  • On-site Job Coaching

Conduct Training:

  • Assist in modifying and updating training materials
  • Train students in nationally certified vocational courses

Others:

  • Provide written updates to trainees' parents on training/coaching progress
  • Participate in Pathlight School events and activities

Requirements:

  • A Degree in any faculty (Preferably in Psychology)

JOB SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing customized coaching strategies to help clients succeed in the workplace under the supervision or guidance of job coaches, case managers and autism consultants
  • Preparing documents, reports and other communication materials, where necessary, for the purpose of communicating information to parents, documenting site observations or incidence reporting
  • Providing job training and support at external worksites to ensure clients meet work expectations of the employer
  • Support clients in integrating in workplace environment, including managing relationships with co-workers and supervisors
  • Participating in meetings and trainings to develop relevant knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum 'O' levels with at least 3 years of work experience.
  • Able to travel to offsite work locations, i.e. employer work sites, with possibility of more than one location a day
  • Possess effective communication skills as required to communicate with external employers and workplace co-workers
  • Possess basic computer literacy
  • Possess a nurturing nature with a desire and passion to serve and advance the cause of the special needs community

ASSISTANT MANAGER, OPERATIONS & ESTATE MANAGEMENT

Responsibilities:

Building Infrastructure:

  • Review, plan and implement additions, routine changes, enhancement or modifications to school facilities
  • Oversee building and facility-related asset purchases and management on a school wide basis
  • Oversee the daily general maintenance of the school facilities and its satellites
  • Management of inventory for all facility-related asset on a school wide basis
  • Manage the renewal and compliance of necessary building and facilities permits and inspections
  • Manage and liaise with contractors, agents and vendors
  • Pursue excellence in all aspects of school facilities operation
  • Monitor and ensure quality service from contract vendors and service providers
  • Monitor and ensure facilities needs are met for the smooth running of all Satellite Schools operations
  • Drive and lead facilities function and logistical needs for school-wide initiatives, programmes and events

School Operations:

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree holder from a reputable educational institution
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Estate Management and Operations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications

CASE MANAGER / SENIOR JOB COACH

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting pre-assessment interviews to gather information required in understanding clients' needs and making recommendation for admission to the program.
  • Conducting vocational assessments using Standardized Assessment Tools & Informal Assessment on strengths, learning needs, learning characteristics, interests, job preferences and behavioural challenges, through structured simulation
  • Documenting case notes, writing assessment reports, and communicating with clients and parents to provide feedback and updates
  • Working closely with the autism consultants and job coaches in identifying goals that match clients' needs, and crafting appropriate coaching strategies as well as tracking client progress with respect to goal achievements
  • Connecting with community resources  to provide support for client and family
  • Assisting in the development of curriculum resources and training materials, where necessary
  • Providing job training and support for clients at external worksites
  • Working with employer partners and their employees in understanding our clients with autism and setting up autism structures for clients at workplace for client success
  • Participating in meetings and trainings to develop relevant knowledge and skills, including industry skills training and job shadowing for purpose of training students / clients in the specific field of work

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work or related field
  • Knowledge of community resources and counselling/social work practices
  • Good documentation skills
  • Ability to establish rapport and motivate others
  • Ability to work independently with strong sense of mission, non-judgemental personal qualities, clear sense of boundaries

CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate Volunteer Management Programmes (including Parent Volunteer Groups, Corporate Social Responsibility, Mainstream Schools' Community Involvement Programmes).
  • Manage media relations and press release activities in conjunction with ARC(S) and Pathlight School events.
  • Manage and build Alumni, donor and corporate partners' relations and related fundraising and/or autism awareness events.
  • Management of ARC(S) and Pathlight School Websites Content and General Queries emails.
  • Management and coordination of Open House and other ad-hoc learning visits.
  • Lead and coordinate publication of ARC(S) Annual Report and Monthly E-Newsletters.
  • Manage Crisis Communication, Social Media Communication and Media Monitoring.
  • Safeguard ARC(S)'s and Pathlight School's identity and reputation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Communications/Marketing/Business Administration preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of corporate and media relations with proven track record in a leadership role
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical, meticulous and resourceful.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment with people of various management levels.
  • Desire to learn about Autism and the passion to contribute to the delivery of quality services to the autism community and stakeholders involved.

IT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the organization's need with emerging technology
  • Align technology to the organization strategy, direction and objectives
  • Manage and direct overall technology operation
  • Build and promote technology awareness and influence its usage as a tool of productivity and efficiency
  • Manage and build leadership among the technology team
  • Provide the organization with an infrastructure and solutions that supports growth, productivity and efficiency
  • Develop standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Manage and ensure IT & AV Services audit and quality related compliance
  • Ensure IT & AV Services are operational and secured

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Computer Science/Engineering
  • In-Depth Knowledge in IT related areas: Firewall, TCP/IP, Microsoft SQL Server, Application Design & Development, Database systems
  • In-Depth Knowledge in AV related areas: Video Conferencing Systems, Audio/Visual systems for events, meetings and conferences
  • At least 5 years' experience in IT & AV Services Related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment
  • A genuine desire to serve the special needs community
