EARLY INTERVENTION TEACHERS

Due to the expansion of our services, we have additional vacancies for early intervention teachers to:
  • Plan and execute intervention programmes for students with autism aged 2 to 6 years old in group or individual therapy settings
  • Empower primary caregivers with educational and behavioural techniques to carry out intervention plans at home and in class
It is crucial that you possess:
  • A Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education or Pre-school Teaching, with relevant teaching experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Desire to learn about Autism and the patience to teach special needs students
  • Passion to help special needs students maximize their talents and potential

TEACHERS/ASSISTANT TEACHER

Due to our rapid expansion to serve more children, we invite people who have proven commitment and competence to join us in transforming the lives entrusted to us.

As TEACHER, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:
  • Deliver effective differentiated classroom teaching of lessons to maximise mainstream academic and non-academic potential of students
  • Implement, monitor and work towards meeting student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals 
  • Prepare students for successful participation in national exams
  • Collaborate effectively with students’ parents to generalise skills learnt in school
  • Organize and conduct integration activities to teach student appropriate social communication and interaction skills
It is crucial that you possess:
  • Relevant experience and recognized qualification in teaching Singapore mainstream academics at primary or secondary school level 
  • Candidates without teaching qualifications will be considered for Assistant Teacher position
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications 
  • Desire to learn about Autism and the patience to teach special needs students 
  • Passion to help special needs students maximize their talents and potential


EDUCATION SUPPORT SENIOR EXECUTIVE / EXECUTIVE

Your job role will include (but not limited to):-
  • Support Education Related Activities
    • Provide clear monitoring, administrative process and logistic support for the National Examination (GCE O, N levels and PSLE)
    • Plan, track and monitor Individual Education Plan for students
    • Administer the generation of students' progress report
    • Provide general support to ensure smooth execution of all education related activities.
  • Provide support to school operation
    • Monitor, track and trigger term to term school planning
    • Update and manage school wide calendar proactively
    • Develop and improve policies and procedures to strengthen school operation capabilities
    • To support in preparation for Quality Assurance Framework
  • Administrative and Operational Duties
    • Plan and co-ordinate staff communication meeting
    • Support school-wide administration
      • Support  agenda planning for school-wide meetings
      • Minute taking for leadership and board meeting
    • Preparation and coordination of Audit
  • Liaison with external stakeholders
    • Manage School Bus Driver and its processes
    • Providing required reports to external stakeholders (e.g. MOE, NCSS)
  • Other areas
    • Support school wide activities when required
    • Support and adhere to MOE/NCSS guidelines and policies
It is crucial that you possess:
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong organizational skills with strong detail orientation
  • Good command of verbal and written English
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (especially Words, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • A genuine desire to serve the special needs community.


F&B EXECUTIVE CUM JOB COACH

Pathlight School also collaborates with Mr Bean Kiosk and Starbucks together with other eateries to provide job coaching opportunities for students within the school. These kiosks require an F&B Executive to run the Kiosk in order to be able to coach potential students, equipping them with necessary vocational skills increasing the employability of Pathlight students.

Due to our expanding operations, we now have an opening for an F&B Executive cum Job Coach.

Your job role will include (but not limited to):-
  • F&B Operations Duties
    • Cashiering and customer service during opening hours of the F&B Kiosk
    • Inventory tracking, Stock taking and sales reporting on daily basis
    • Ordering/ purchasing of consumables / utensils to replenish stocks
  • Coaching Duties
    • To Coach at least 2 students at any one time
    • Ensure work proficiency of students at the job including maintaining good service standards
    • To create Lessons plans, pre and/or post assessment for trainees who are coached
    • Plan for future expansion of job scope of students
  • General Administration
    • Planning monthly and daily operations including menu, work schedule for students, etc
It is crucial that you possess:
  • Preferably a degree and 1-2 years working experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Good organizational skills with strong detail orientation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment
  • Desire to learn about Autism and the patience to teach special needs students
  • Passion to help special needs students maximize their talents and potential


TRAINING EXECUTIVE

Due to our rapid expansion to train more parents and teachers in the field of autism intervention, we have a vacancy for a Training Executive in our Autism Intervention, Training & Consultancy Unit (AITC).

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):-
  • Coordinate and prepare for training programs organized by AITC
    • Prepare and consolidate list of participants for each training event
    • Liaise with various sponsoring bodies, schools, participants, trainers, etc.
    • Preparation of invoices, claims and approvals to various bodies.
    • Preparation of event marketing through flyers, website posting and email blitzs.
  • Secretarial support to trainers
    • Editing of course outlines and handout materials
    • Tabulation and release of results to trainees attending certification courses
    • Training event preparation
  • Website and training calendar updates and maintenance
  • General Administration (Eg: Facilities Booking, Facilitation of training duties, Video taking and cataloging, Preparation and submission of Trainer's expense claims, etc)
It is crucial that you possess:
  • Relevant educational qualifications and administrative work experience
  • Good skills in writing and communicating in English and Mandarin
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • A pro-active approach to problem solving
  • Good organization skills with strong detail orientation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment
  • A genuine desire to serve the special needs community.
