Pathlight is proud to be the only Special Education school among 12 that participated in STEM @ Central Singapore. Held from 19 to 22 June 2017, the event saw 300 students going through intensive rounds of coding and prototyping. Using theories from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), they designed, built and programmed robots that transform to adapt to their environment.
All three Pathlight teams, “Cougar/Puma”, “Team Fantastic” and “The Ultimate Minecraft”, made it to the Top 10 in the “Most Popular Transforming Robot” category. They won a total of S$1,500 that will go towards supporting the development of STEM programmes in our school. Well done, Pathlighters!
