Secondary 4 Pathlighters embarked on a learning journey to the National Gallery in July as part of their Art and Life Readiness curriculum.
Immersing themselves in artworks of various mediums by renowned Southeast Asian artists, Pathlighters gained an understanding and appreciation of the expressive methods and techniques used to convey ideas and meaning through art.
As part of their research project, Pathlighters took photographs of their chosen artworks and artist statements and presented them in class. Many also expressed their interest to visit the gallery again with their family to learn more about other exhibits at the National Gallery!
