Pathlighters Hit The Spot With Their Original Stories

Pathlighters Hit The Spot With Their Original Stories

Congratulations to Pathlighers Jaden Kwok Xiang Han and Casey Angel Low on winning third place in the nation-wide Scholastic “Spot On Reading” Read & Write Challenge 2019, for Primary 2 and Primary 5 levels respectively! Organised by Scholastic Asia, the annual Challenge aims to inspire the love of reading and flair for writing among primary school students in Singapore.

Jaden and Casey showed their Character, Competence and Conviction in taking up the challenge and crafting their own original stories to the respective themes assigned. Jaden moved the judges with his heartwarming story about “Consideration” while Casey impressed them with her sophisticated use of language in her story about “Motherly Love”.

To celebrate their accomplishment, Jaden and Casey shared their award-winning stories with fellow Pathlighters during the prize presentation ceremony in school.

Well done Jaden and Casey! Continue inspiring others with your stories and never stop reading and writing!
