As part of the Combined Schools Choir who performed at the True Colours Festival in March, the Pathlight Primary School Choir were invited to the Istana on Thursday, 2 August 2018  for a tea reception.

 The Choir had the opportunity to step into the Istana and learn more about its history and structure. The tea also presented a chance for them to reunite with friends they had made during the Festival and sing together again. They were also most excited to meet President Halimah Yacob, exchange a few words, and perform for her as well.

The experience made us feel deeply honoured, and filled us with gratitude. We hope that this experience will spur our students to advocate more for those with special needs through their talent.
