Three Secondary 3 Pathlighters represented the school in the nationwide MOE History Challenge held at the National University of Singapore (NUS) on 3 July 2019. Our Pathlighters drew on their history knowledge and skills taught in class as they were tested on various historical issues.

After the challenge, they had the opportunity to participate in a sharing session by Associate Professor Joey Long from NUS’ History Department, where he shared about how historians understand history. Regardless of the results, the challenge broadened our students’ views on the different perspectives of history and gave them an opportunity to exercise their analytical and critical thinking skills!
