On 19 May 2017, students from Vocational Track embarked on a learning journey to East Coast Park. This learning journey was aimed at developing them holistically in the aesthetic, physical, socio-emotional, moral and cognitive areas.
With volunteers from NCSS, the students were engaged in activities such as pitching of tent, cycling/walking, treasure hunt, sand castle building and picnic. The activities were planned and designed to promote healthy lifestyle as well as critical and inventive thinking (application of functional academics). They also learned the importance of team work and the appropriate behaviour in social settings.
Thank you volunteers! We had a great experience doing activities, like camping that many of us have never done before!
